To strengthen the corporate safety production line and implement the fire control policy of "putting prevention first and combining fire prevention with fire fighting", Root Corporation organized a comprehensive fire emergency drill for employees on May 30. Led and fully planned by the Safety & Environment Department, the drill received full support from the Party Branch and Trade Union, ensuring solid implementation and tangible results.
The drill realistically simulated a fire caused by a short circuit in a factory electrical box, with dense smoke triggering smoke detectors. After receiving the alarm, the control room guards verified the fire immediately and reported to the chief commander. The company activated the fire emergency plan right away, and staff carried out fire extinguishing and personnel evacuation in an orderly manner.Meanwhile, practical training on CPR and the Heimlich maneuver was arranged to comprehensively improve employees' emergency rescue capabilities. A prize-winning fire safety quiz was also held, covering fire protection laws, fire prevention, escape skills and equipment operation. Employees took an active part, consolidating fire safety knowledge through engaging interactions.
The drill proceeded smoothly with well-organized arrangements and thorough preparations from all departments. All participants took the exercise seriously. Once the alarm sounded, employees cut off power supplies promptly and evacuated orderly via fire exits, with the emergency access kept unobstructed throughout.The evacuation team efficiently assembled and accounted for all personnel, while the fire-fighting team responded swiftly and operated in standard procedures, demonstrating solid safety awareness and emergency response capabilities. All staff also took an active part in first-aid practice and mastered key rescue skills, meeting the requirements of regular training.
This drill helped staff learn through practice and identify existing deficiencies, effectively strengthening the company's foundation for fire safety. Root Corporation will continue to carry out fire safety education and emergency drills to build a long-term solid line of defense for work safety.
